"The God who sees Hagar in the wilderness, who sees Isaac on the mountain is still the God who sees every vulnerable child, every wounded neighbor, every forgotten person. Perhaps That’s what 'the LORD will see' has meant all along. God is still calling God’s people to become interrupters of violence rather than participants in it."
